This is a new trip for us and we enjoyed our research to be able to bring this wonderful trip to you....

 

So we are off to the fabulous winery of Casa Sicilia in Novelda, just outside Alicante where we will have a guided tour of the vineyards and winery then have a tasting of their red, rose and white wines accompanied with breads and tapas nibbles.

 

We will then have a 4 course lunch (menu available on request) in their gorgeous onsite restaurant which has a section of glass floor where you can see the wine cellar below.

 

You will then have time to look around the shop and purchase some of the wines, jams and olive oils produced there.

 

But before all of this, on the way to the winery we will be stopping off at the amazing mini Gaudi inspired church in Novelda.

 

This is a truly fabulous day out!

There is a short walk to the church from the car park, no steps, just a slope
