Fabulous new trip exploring the stunning scenery of Murcia via its rivers....

Gentle rafting in the Almadenes Canyon (suitable for everyone) with a visit to 2 caves (world heritage site) and rock art workshop with free time in Calasparra... What a day!!

 

Setting off from the base in Calasparra, the rafting runs along the Protected Natural Area of El Cañón de Almadenes, and includes a visit to the Cueva de los Monigotes and its Rock Art, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with paintings from 20,000 years ago!! The canyon has walls of 100m high with more than 150 recognised species of flora and fauna to be found and which can only be seen from the river.

 

This tour lasts around 3-3.5hrs and concludes at the La Mulata Dam.

 

We will then board the coach and go off for free time in Calasparra so you can enjoy some lunch, before our journey home.
