The Cuban Classical Ballet, will perform

'The Nutcracker' at the El Batel Auditorium in Cartagena!!!

 

The play centres on a Christmas party where Clara, receives a nutcracker in the form of a soldier from her godfather, Drosselmeyer. That night, Clara dreams that her nutcracker comes to life and fights a Mouse King.

After defeating him, the nutcracker transforms into a prince and takes Clara to the Kingdom of Sweets. There, they are greeted by the Sugar Plum Fairy and witness dances representing different sweets and cultures. The ballet ends with Clara awakening from her dream, hugging her nutcracker.
