Festival declared of International Tourist Interest.

 

On this day, the city becomes a unique Garden in which tens of thousands of people of all ages take to the streets wearing regional clothing.

 

They, with the zaragüelles, vests and monteras (orchard hat), and they, with the beautiful refajos (skirts), aprons and shawls.

 

The day begins early, with a floral offering to the Virgin of Fuensanta, Patron Saint of the city, in front of the baroque façade of the Cathedral.

 

In the afternoon, the parade departs from the Infante Don Juan Manuel neighbourhood and runs through the centre of the city, treating everyone to the typical products of fruit and vegetables that fill the floats.
